Designer
Ebere Groenouwe (1976) is a visual artist with
experience in different fields in art and design.
She made inflatable sculptures, multi-media
installations, using several techniques from,
graphic design and photography to sewing.
More recently she developed a passion for
working with paper.

She believes the artwork or design is already
there, waiting to come into existence, just
asking her to create the conditions needed for it
to develop and flourish. Loxolops are an
example of this. With their organic flowing lines
and and simple construction method, Loxolops
seem to almost make themselves.

Ebere:
“In my eyes the Loxolop is not a lamp. The
loxolop functions as a lamp but mainly the
loxolop just is!”
